Introduction to 21st Century graphics technology. This course introduces a 3D modelling package used by many industries in the development of products.  In 2018 PTC introduced Creo 4 with built in Vuforia technology to allow Augmented Reality.  You will learn to create a model of a product and see it through a tablet or phone.
This course is Creo 6.0 and YES, we help with install.  Very straightforward for those who RTM.
A 10 hour course running over two days. The software is provided free of charge with installation support. Licenses to use within the school and for students to use at home are also provided. The software is Creo  Parametric by PTC and is the world’s leading product development solution with embedded intelligence for the Internet of Things (Iot) via ThingWorx technology.  PTC were the first to introduce an Academic program.
Participants gain deep enough understanding to develop products and to provide the opportunity to their students. This course has been delivered to over 3000 teachers in Australia.  3D printing of the work is explained and demonstrated in this course.  This is top level CAD CAM, an engineering package for the 21st century.  Unparalleled in their academic program and in the integration of IoT and AR / VR.

Completing the Computer Aided Drawing and Manufacture using PTC CREO course will contribute 10 hours of QTC Registered PD addressing 3.3.2, 3.4.2, 5.1.2, 5.3.2, 6.2.2, 6.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
