Learn the basics of working with veneers using both digital technologies (laser) and scroll saw techniques to create decorative marquetry pieces, with a wide range of timber veneers. In this workshop participants will learn about commercial veneers and how to cut both straight and curved line repeating patterns to create interesting and beautiful effects. An easy way for your students to add veneered patterns to their projects such as skateboards and serving trays. This course is open to all skill levels from absolute beginners to those with some experience. Course cost includes all materials and a vacuum kit to take back to school.
